When wrapping breakables find a flat, secure surface to work on.

When packing china put heavy items on the bottom and glasses on top

Bubble wrap pictures & mirrors where possible.

Mark the boxes by room and general contents.

If a box is only half full, pack with paper or bubble wrap to secure

Mark heavier boxes, and inform the porters.

Pack books in small boxes.

Tape any screws to the piece of furniture it goes with.

Tape remote controls to its appliance

If contents are fragile, mark this on the box.

Don’t skimp on packing materials, breakages are more expensive than paper!
